Where will it be held?

Abu Dhabi holds the existing hosting agreement for the 2027 Final Four. EuroLeague CEO Chus Bueno confirmed the arrangement in May 2026 but has said EuroLeague is not making Abu Dhabi official while the regional security situation remains unresolved, and that alternative options are being discussed. He stressed there is no confirmed Plan B yet.

The strongest recent reporting identifies three European alternatives:

  • Valencia, Spain — Roig Arena, a new ~15,600-seat venue backed by Valencia Basket.
  • Kaunas, Lithuania — Žalgirio Arena, ~15,400 capacity. Hosted a widely praised Final Four in 2023.
  • Belgrade, Serbia — Beogradska Arena, 18,000+ capacity. Previously hosted in 2018 and 2022.

EuroLeague has not yet confirmed the 2027 host. Bueno has said the league is giving the situation time while discussing alternative options in parallel. This page will be updated as soon as the venue is officially announced.

The 2026-27 season calendar

  • Regular season ends: April 16, 2027
  • Play-In Showdown: April 20 and 23, 2027
  • Playoffs (best-of-five): April 27 – May 12, 2027
  • Final Four: May 28–30, 2027

The top six regular-season teams qualify directly for the playoffs. Teams finishing seventh through tenth enter the Play-In Showdown for the final two playoff places. The four winners of the subsequent best-of-five series qualify for the Final Four.

How 2027 Final Four tickets are expected to work

EuroLeague has not yet announced the 2027 ticket-sale schedule. In 2026, general-public ticket packages were released in four separate phases between February and April, well before the four Final Four teams were known:

  • February 11, 2026
  • February 26, 2026
  • March 17, 2026
  • April 20, 2026

The first 2026 public allocation sold out in under five minutes, with EuroLeague reporting more than one million fans connecting to the ticket platform. That gives a realistic sense of how competitive the official sale can be.

Qualified clubs may also receive allocations for their own supporters once the playoff teams are known, but the exact 2027 system will not be confirmed until EuroLeague publishes its ticketing rules.

What if official Final Four tickets sell out?

Check EuroLeague's official resale platform first. For the 2026 Final Four, EuroLeague operated its own fan-to-fan marketplace for ticket holders who could no longer attend and described it as the only authorised resale channel.

Secondary ticket marketplaces may also list Final Four tickets, but buyers should carefully check EuroLeague's current ticketing conditions before purchasing, because rules regarding transfer and unauthorised resale can vary by edition.

Ticket prices

2027 ticket prices have not yet been announced.

For context, official 2026 Athens Final Four packages ranged from approximately €399 to €952 depending on seating category and sales phase. Prices for 2027 will depend partly on the host venue and EuroLeague's ticketing structure.

How to prepare

  1. Create an account on the official EuroLeague ticket portal before the first sale phase opens and save payment details.
  2. Watch for EuroLeague's ticketing announcement — 2026 phase-one tickets sold out in minutes, so being ready at the drop time matters more than any hack.
  3. Wait to book flights and hotels until you actually hold a ticket. Final Four weekends saturate the host city and non-refundable travel is a real risk.
  4. If official inventory sells out, start with EuroLeague's own resale platform. Only use secondary marketplaces after checking the current edition's transfer and resale rules.

We'll add direct links to the official portal as soon as the 2027 ticketing system opens.
